This 2 double bed, 1 shower room flat is situated on the edge of the rural village of Alcaucin, 1 hr drive from Malaga airport and 20 minutes from the coastal town of Torre del Mar. The village itself is very typical of the Andalusian area with whitewashed houses and narrow streets, it is renowned for its four water spouts which deliver spring water which flows down from the mountains above. Alcaucin is on the border of the National Park which is easily accessed at the top of the village and can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The Park itself has many featured walks, a camp site, restaurant and barbecue areas. Alcaucin boasts several bar/restaurants most serving local fayre which are within walking distance of the apartment. There are also three mini markets, a bakery, post office, Town Hall Pharmacy and bank with cash machine. If you want to venture a bit further afield the next village Puenta Dom Manuel is a 7 minute drive back down the hill again, it has British supermarkets, a large butchers/delicatessen and beauty salon. Los Romanes is 15 minutes away and has lovely views over Lake Vinuela. The lake has non-motor sports activities over the summer months and is very popular with tourists and locals alike. The flat, which is on the 2nd floor, is accessed by a tiled entrance hall which continues throughout the communal areas. Enjoy the panoramic view across the valley from the front balcony which leads from the spacious living/dining room. Both bedrooms have a view up to the village, with the main bedroom having french doors leading to a smaller balcony. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has a view over the communal pool area.

  • With the exception of Easter, October half term and Christmas when there is a 50 euros excess charge.
